Stainless Steel Seamless Pipes
Seamless pipes are made when a solid round billet is pierced, hot finished, or cold drawn and then heat treated. Since there is no weld seam, these pipes are used to transport high pressure and high temperature fluids. Therefore, they are mainly used in boilers and heat exchangers and refineries and other high pressure process lines.
Stainless Steel Welded and ERW Pipes
Stainless Steel piping can be manufactured in a variety of ways. One method is welding. For welded piping, plates or strips of stainless steel are joined using TIG or electric resistance or plasma welding. The welds are then removed, and the pipe is then solution annealed.
